Because there are so many possible causes of dizziness and balance disorders, our physician or yours may order one or all of the diagnostic tests we have available to accurately diagnose a patient's condition. The type of diagnostic tests a patient receives will also vary depending on what their physician has ordered for tests.
If a vestibular problem is detected during your diagnostic testing evaluation, further diagnostic tests may be required to more accurately identify the cause of the problem. In some cases, if your symptoms and exam results are suggestive of a specific cause, our doctor may also order additional tests designed to confirm a diagnosis and suggest the best course of treatment. |
