Why Refer to NDBC?

Our Program

At NDBC, we seek the source of the patients disturbed function, and then definitively treat the problem. This definitive approach to treatment separates us from non-specialized care received in most medical centers. Our clinical goal is to offer our patients a lasting solution to their dizziness or balance problem through an individualized rehabilitation program.

Multidisciplinary Approach
One of NDBC's key success factors has been the utilization of a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment. This means it's possible for our patients to be working with a team of professionals that may include: neurologists, otolaryngologists, general practioners, audiologists, and physical therapists. Because our medical staff all work at the same facility, it allows for a true team approach and better patient results. This team approach and continuity of patient care is what makes our program so successful.

Diagnostic Testing
Our diagnostic testing lab is truly a state-of-the-art facility. We have the most sophisticated diagnostic testing equipment available today for diagnosing and treating dizziness and balance disorders. We also make considerable investments into our professionally trained audiology staff to provide the most thorough diagnostic evaluation available today.

We currently offer these diagnostic testing technologies to our patients:

Rehabilitation
Alongside our industry leading diagnostic testing capabilities for diagnosing dizziness and balance disorders, we also provide vestibular rehabilitation, balance therapy, and general muscle strengthening and reconditioning for our patients. The highlight of our rehabilitation program is our NeuroCom Smart EquiTest Posturography which can objectively measure a patients three sensory inputs at one time. It can provide insight into where the balance disturbance may be developing from, and more importantly, which one of these inputs needs rehabilitation. We also have the ability to use our Smart EquiTest platform as a progress indicator for our patients in therapy. This gives us immediate feedback on the overall effectiveness of a patients individualized therapy program and allows us to fine tune each program to maximize patient results.

Patient Care
Along with our exceptional diagnostic testing and treatment capabilities, we take great pride in providing extraordinary patient care while in the process of treating a patients condition. We provide our patients with a new, fresh starting point for diagnosing and treating their dizziness or balance problem where all the necessary medical experts and technology are located in one facility. This ensures consistent diagnosis and treatment for each patient throughout their time here at NDBC.
