Entrepreneurship, Business Developement & Execution

Kenneth Ginkel received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of St. Thomas in 2005. Ken concentrated his studies in the the Entrepreneurship program relating to business development and the execution of new business models. Ken brings many years of business and marketing knowledge to NDBC after founding another company called Tenkom over 12 years ago when he was just 16 years of age. Ken is very knowledgeable on dizziness/balance disorders which helps him guide his team towards excellence in patient care while developing an effective clinical and business model.

Ken founded NDBC along with Dr. Ginkel, during his graduate program at the University of St. Thomas in 2005. From the time this clinical concept was first developed during his graduate program, his vision for the business was to provide the very best patient care in every aspect of the treatment process for dizziness and balance disorders. This currently wasn't available for this medical specialty and became an obsession of Ken's to build a clinical and business model that could achieve his vision.

Ken started researching and studying the vestibular and balance systems in both classroom and independent settings, and began traveling across the country attending seminars and meeting equipment vendors starting to put the pieces into place for an effective clinical model for this patient population. Working together with Dr. Ginkel, they created a clinical model that would not only be profitable for the shareholders of the corporation, but more importantly, would offer patients the very best patient care possible for these types of conditions.
